“Flowers always make people better, happier and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.” – Luther Burbank

Welcome to the Blog today, Friends. With so much snow and cold weather around the country I thought it would be nice to visit the beauty of some of the flowers found in Ireland. It helps remind us that Winter won’t last forever. The photo above is a gorgeous rose bush along an Irish garden path.

“Flowers don’t worry about how they’re going to bloom. They just open up and turn toward the light and that makes them beautiful.”– Jim Carrey

Lilies bloom after a morning shower. The raindrops linger on the petals waiting the coming of the sun.

“Don’t wait for someone to bring you flowers. Plant your own garden and decorate your own soul.”– Luther Burbank

Beautiful bright red blossoms form a hedge on the way to a Stone Circle overlooking the sea.

“A flower does not use words to announce its arrival to the world; it just blooms.”– Matshona Dhliwayo

Window boxes line the streets of a picturesque village on the West coast of Ireland. The vibrant colors are enjoyed by all who pass by.

“Gardens and flowers have a way of bringing people together, drawing them from their homes.” – Clare Ansberry

I think this a spider mum in a beautiful garden on a beautiful island in Bantry Bay.

“Like wildflowers; You must allow yourself to grow in all the places people thought you never would.”– E.V.

This vining flower found a home in a nearby tree.

“Love is like wildflowers; it’s often found in the most unlikely places.”– Ralph Waldo Emerson

Flowers grow tin profusion along the roadside next to the sea.

This reminder of Spring in the middle of Winter encourages us to take heart and know that all good things come in time.
